7 years in the education profession (CO); 2020 Colorado Adapted Physical Educator of the Year; Nationally Certified Adapted Physical Educator;  I was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. I earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Education at Berea College in Berea, KY. I am extremely proud to have graduated from one of the seven work-study programs left in the US. In 2013, I earned my master's degree in Kinesiology with a emphasis in Adapted PE from Texas Woman's University.
